Commercial Day Porter (Full-Time) - Round Rock

Under general supervision, the Building Cleaner is responsible for performing cleaning tasks and operating various types of cleaning equipment within assigned facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrive on time and prepared to successfully complete all assigned duties during each shift
• Maintain clean, safe, and professional office and work environments, including trash removal, liner replacement, and cleaning of windows and windowsills
• Perform routine floor care, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping of floors and stairways
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restroom facilities to ensure a hygienic and well-maintained environment for clients and visitors
• Organize and maintain janitorial closets, ensuring supplies are stocked, and equipment is properly stored

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Previous commercial cleaning experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow supervisor instructions and respond to client requests
• Ability to follow building-specific health and safety protocols
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must have dependable transportation to and from assigned work locations

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
• Capable of performing repetitive cleaning tasks and using cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed

Schedule:
Monday – Saturday

Shift:
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
