Position OverviewAs an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will evaluate, plan, and implement treatment for residents using evidence-based approaches to improve independence and quality of life. You’ll also play a key role in patient and family education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and documentation of care. Key Responsibilities * Evaluate residents to determine functional impairments and therapy needs * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on ADLs and IADLs * Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team * Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications to promote safety and independence * Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques and strategies to support functional recovery * Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines * Attend required meetings and actively participate in care planning * Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility policies Qualifications * Active Texas Occupational Therapist license * In good standing with all relevant licensing boards and agencies * Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or long-term care preferred * Familiarity with Net Health documentation system is a plus * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse patient populations Why Join Ganado? * In-House Therapy Team – No Contracted Services * New Grads Welcome * Competitive Pay and Comprehensive Benefits * Flexible Scheduling Options * Supportive Team Culture Confidential inquiries are welcome.
