ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens Nursing Job in Pasadena, Texas

ICU RN Job Details – Pasadena, TX
- Location: Pasadena, Texas 77504 (Greater Houston Area)
- Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 26 beds, 2nd floor
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (July 21, 2025 – October 20, 2025)
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Schedule: Every other weekend required
- Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
- EMR System: Meditech
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1460 - $1500
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with mechanical ventilators, balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, and EKOS preferred
- Strong clinical skills, teamwork, and communication abilities
- Deliver high-quality critical care nursing to ICU patients (1:2 or 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio)
- Monitor and manage patients on advanced life support and critical care equipment
- Assist with bedside procedures including tracheostomies, PEG placements, and central line insertions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Accurately document nursing care and interventions in Meditech EMR
- Demonstrate adaptability and professionalism in a fast-paced ICU environment
