RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 13-week contract assignment with guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Must be willing to float to facility Free-Standing Emergency Departments (FSEDs) as needed
• Required certifications: TNCC (must have by start date), ENPC (must have by start date), ACLS, BLS
• Greater than 2 years of emergency department experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Work with Meditech EMR system
• Perform typical ED procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
• Must be a great team player who anticipates patient and department needs
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs and navy blue zip-up sweater (no pull-over sweatshirts allowed)
• Work in 32-bed emergency department with multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, RNs, medics, and PCTs

This medical center features a comprehensive 32-bed emergency department that provides high-acuity emergency care with a full multidisciplinary team. The facility utilizes Meditech EMR and maintains excellent staffing ratios to ensure quality patient care. The emergency department performs a wide range of procedures from basic wound care to advanced life support interventions, creating a dynamic and challenging work environment for emergency nursing professionals.
