We're looking for a Content Marketing Manager who can own end-to-end content production across channels – from email campaigns and ad copy to video scripts, blog content, tutorials, social content, and sales enablement materials. You'll create the content that drives pipeline, enables sales, educates merchants, and builds our brand across every surface. The ideal candidate has a forward-thinking approach to using AI as a creative and operational multiplier. You've owned a content engine before and know what it takes to ship work that actually moves metrics.
Your impact:
- Develop and manage content strategy, execution, distribution, and measurement to help build brand awareness and drive revenue
- Set the content calendar and cadence for ShipperHQ across various assets and channels
- Support different areas of the funnel by creating content for top of funnel awareness, mid-funnel conversion, and existing customers
- Work closely with the growth, marketing, sales, and CS teams to determine the right content initiatives and channel mix for ShipperHQ
- Collaborate with the marketing team in the creation of landing pages, social media posts, blog posts, email campaigns, ad copy, product demos, video scripts & production and more
- Partner with Product Marketing to develop a strong storytelling narrative for ShipperHQ that incorporates our product, end users, and differentiates our brand from others in the ecommerce space
- Use AI tools (LLMs, image/video gen, automation) to accelerate ideation, production, and repurposing, while maintaining quality and brand voice
- Develop deep expertise in our product and target audiences to craft engaging and original content that resonates with real pain points and creates demand for ShipperHQ
- Champion ShipperHQ's tone across every channel. You'll help shape, document and enforce a brand voice that's bold, smart, and merchant-first.
- Optimize content for SEO & AEO to increase organic growth
- Track what's working. Use engagement data, conversion metrics, and feedback loops to refine content and improve output over time.
- Map content journeys for a variety of business audiences, delivering the right message to the right market through the most effective channels
- Manage the end-to-end content engine at ShipperHQ and deliver on content KPIs
The ideal candidate has the following experience:
- 3-5+ years of experience creating marketing content end-to-end for technology companies, preferably in B2B SaaS or e-commerce environments.
- A strong portfolio showing range across formats like emails, ads, website, video scripts, social, thought leadership & PR, sales collateral – with clear evidence of sharp copywriting skills and editorial craft
- Proven ability to own a content calendar and ship on deadline
- Experience writing for multiple stages of the funnel: top-of-funnel awareness through bottom-of-funnel conversion and post-sale retention.
- A natural storyteller with a track record of taking a product, customer win, or industry trend and shaping it into a narrative that's compelling, human, and engaging
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices (segmentation, subject lines, CTAs, A/B testing).
- Comfort with video – at minimum scripting; ideally some hands-on experience with shooting or editing
- AI fluency: You actively use AI tools (not just chatgpt) in your workflow and can articulate how they make you faster and better
- Familiarity with HubSpot, CMS platforms, and marketing automation tools is a strong plus.
- An understanding of SEO & AEO fundamentals and how content supports organic growth.
- A knack for translating complex or technical product concepts into clear, compelling content for non-technical audiences.
- Self-starter energy. You thrive in fast-paced environments and don't wait to be told what to create.
