ROLE IMPACT
The Financial Analyst II supports revenue cycle performance for a large healthcare organization by transforming complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights. This role partners with leadership, corporate teams, and facilities to standardize reporting, benchmark performance, and identify opportunities to improve cash flow and net revenue realization. Success is defined by accurate reporting, meaningful analysis, and measurable financial improvement across the system.

Key Responsibilities
• Produce and manage standardized daily, weekly, and monthly revenue cycle reports
• Support goal setting, productivity tracking, and performance monitoring across departments
• Collect, synthesize, and communicate financial and operational data to support system-wide strategies
• Develop and implement benchmarking and comparative reporting for key revenue cycle metrics
• Perform financial opportunity assessments to identify revenue cycle improvement opportunities
• Support initiatives focused on improving cash flow and net revenue realization
• Assist with implementation plans and measurement of initiative outcomes
• Build and maintain financial and non-financial performance models aligned to strategic goals
• Provide tools, data, and insights to help operations identify current and future performance risks
• Analyze and complete special projects as assigned while balancing multiple priorities

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or analytics, preferably supporting revenue cycle or healthcare operations
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and financial or performance modeling
• Proven ability to synthesize large, multi-source datasets into clear, actionable insights for leadership and operational teams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders

• Financial reporting and analytics platforms
• Advanced spreadsheets (Excel or equivalent)
• Data visualization and performance tracking tools
• Enterprise financial and operational systems

Preferred Skills
• Experience supporting revenue cycle analytics within a healthcare environment
• Ability to clearly communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
