Full-Cycle Accountant

Responsibilities :

• Manage the full cycle of accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.


• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.


• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.


• Oversee job costing and project accounting, ensuring accurate allocation of costs and timely invoicing.


• Maintain and update financial records and documentation.


• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations.


• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve financial issues and discrepancies.


• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.


• Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.


• Monitor cash flow and manage financial transactions.


• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.


• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the company remains compliant.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.


• CPA certification is preferred.


• Minimum of 3-5 years of full cycle accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.


• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.


• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).


• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.


• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
