Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain .NET applications while ensuring robust architecture and clean, test-driven code.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core frameworks.

• Implement and consume APIs including REST, SOAP, and RPC for application integration.

• Write and optimize SQL Server components such as stored procedures, triggers, views, and indexes to ensure efficient database operations.

• Apply structured problem-solving techniques and hands-on coding to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.

• Develop unit tests and follow test-driven development practices within an Agile environment.

• Collaborate with teams to define application architecture and ensure adherence to SDLC processes while maintaining clear documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in .NET technologies and application development.

• Strong proficiency in core .NET technologies, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and API development (REST, SOAP, RPC).

• Solid understanding of data structures (Stack, Queue, Linked List) and SQL Server, including writing/debugging stored procedures, triggers, and optimizing queries.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
