This user experience writer/content designer role creates digital content strategies and messaging to help solve member problems and achieve business goals. This role will independently leverage human-centered design, user testing, content design principles, omnichannel content strategy, SEO best practices, accessibility and brand and style guidelines to help create our digital member experiences.

· User experience writing or content design (2 years minimum)

· Very familiar with SEO, AP style, using style guides (2 years minimum)

· Experienced in working with subject matter experts and design teams to create user experiences

· Figma, SEM Rush and MSWord

Our contend designers/ux writers use Figma to create their content and layout - sometimes they use MSWord. SEM rush is used for keyword research.

The core duty of this job is to do user experience writing/content design for website, the mobile app, emails, text messages and push notifications. The writer must be able to read and analyze the business requirements provided to create the necessary content. They must be able to do strategic thinking to suggest content strategy solutions, collaborate with subject matter experts and handle working in a very fast paced environment. Writers are expected to complete projects within a span of 1 to 7 days based on complexity.

In addition to the job skills listed, all candidates must submit a portfolio for review. A UX writing (not UX design or UX research) certification, intermediate use of design systems/content management systems, intermediate knowledge in Figma and experience in financial/insurance services are a plus.
