Bookkeeper/Office Manager (Full-Time, In-Office)
Overview
Bookkeeping-first position responsible for daily QBO bookkeeping, reconciliations, and full in-house weekly payroll for approximately 15 employees (seasonal), plus office and customer-facing support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online (transactions, coding, routine clean-up).
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts; investigate discrepancies.
- A/R and A/P workflow support (billing/invoicing support, vendor bills, payment tracking).
- Process payroll in-house (weekly), end-to-end: time review, overtime, withholding/deduction changes, issuing pay, recording payroll, and filings as applicable.
- Maintain payroll records; support year-end tasks (W-2/1099 coordination as applicable).
- Month-end support and requested reporting
- Internal point of contact with outside bookkeeping/accounting firm.
- Excel spreadsheets, forms and internal tracking tools.
- Customer billing, payments and sales related office tasks.
- Organized recordkeeping and general office support.
Required Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
- Hands-on bank and credit card reconciliation experience.
- Ability to understand balance sheets and key financial reports.
- Strong Excel skills (forms, spreadsheets, basic formulas; comfort learning templates)
- In-house payroll processing experience (weekly) – not just coordination.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable; able to work independently.
- Comfortable communicating with outside accounting/bookkeeping firm and staff.
Preferred:
- Spanish language skills
- Small business office experience

- $25/hour starting pay
