We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operators to join our production team. This position is responsible for preparing packaging materials, operating packaging equipment, and ensuring products are packaged safely and accurately while meeting quality standards. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare packaging materials by assembling boxes and lids, stapling, labeling, palletizing, stacking, and cleaning.
• Perform packaging and repackaging of materials according to established procedures.
• Operate packaging and transfer equipment following visual operating procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with general labor and other production support duties as needed.
• Follow all packaging procedures and work instructions for assigned tasks.
• Work independently while maintaining speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Be punctual and prepared to begin work at the start of each shift.
• Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Previous manufacturing, production, or packaging experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds , with frequent lifting of up to 100 pounds .
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions.

Safety & Quality

• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of quality in all work performed.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Adhere to all department work instructions, packaging procedures, and safety requirements.

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $17/hr

Shift: Rotating Shifts

• 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
• 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
• 10:00 PM 6:30 AM
