Within the hotel, The Driskill Bar & Grill brings a modern interpretation of the classic American steakhouse — where warm Texas spirit meets sophisticated design, impeccable service, and a menu crafted for both everyday dining and momentous celebrations.

Job Summary
As a Host, you will provide a warm, friendly, and immediate greeting to guests at the door, as well as those calling the restaurant. If you are a proactive team player with a strong work ethic, are detail-oriented, and have a passion for hospitality, we want to hear from you!

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Greeting guests as they enter, and putting them on a waiting list as necessary
• Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions
• Seating guests at tables and assigning them to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers
• Engaging with guests to ensure they’re happy with food and service
• Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• Active TABC certification required
• Excellent customer service and people skills required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of being on your feet per shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
