East Plant 2nd Shift - Production Superintendent

In this leadership role, the Production Superintendent directs production and processing supervisors across multiple departments on a single shift to ensure the cost‑effective, timely production of high‑quality products. This position is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day production operations within the poultry processing facility, ensuring production targets, food safety standards, animal welfare requirements, and quality expectations are consistently met in a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and support production supervisors and hourly teams to meet production, quality, and safety goals
- Plan and coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and production schedules to ensure efficient, on‑time operations
- Monitor production performance, productivity, and costs; implement improvements as needed
- Promote compliance with food safety, USDA, animal welfare, and safety requirements
- Partner with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, HR, USDA, and Safety teams to support plant objectives
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities in production flow, processes, and equipment utilization
- Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement, communication, and accountability
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support plant operations
What You’ll Need
- Education: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in related field required.
- Experience: Must have previous management experience in a food or poultry processing facility, including at least one year of directly related experience. Directly related work experience may be used as a year‑for‑year substitute for the educational requirement.
- Skills: Effective communication both orally and in writing, capable of independent decision making, must have basic computer knowledge, strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and proficient in MS Office software applications.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

- Base salary range of $78,883 - $95,843based on experience;
