We are looking for compassionate and dedicated caregivers who are passionate about providing quality care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. As a caregiver, you will assist clients with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Our goal is to support our clients' well-being, independence, and quality of life.

We are looking for full-time, part-time, and flexible shift caregivers.
Where We Provide Care
Right at Home Galveston serves Galveston, Texas City, LaMarque, Hitchcock, Santa Fe, Alvin, League CIty, Seabrook, San Leon, Webster, Friendswood, Pearland, parts of South Houston and surrounding communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build meaningful connections with clients through companionship and engaging conversations.
- Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support mobility and transfers, utilizing assistive devices as necessary.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, providing feeding assistance when needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, vacuuming, and maintaining a tidy living environment.
- Provide medication reminders as prescribed.
- Transport or accompany clients to appointments and on errands.
- Encourage clients' participation in meaningful activities and ensure their comfort and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and document any changes in clients' health or needs, promptly reporting them as necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required. Relevant certifications or training are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year in a caregiving facility or home care role.
- Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; English proficiency required.
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting and moving over 50 pounds and assisting with mobility.
- Valid driver's license and reliable PERSONAL transportation.
- Must pass a background check and any other relevant screenings.
