Job Description:
The VP, Product Specialist, ARK Invest Sales representative identifies and cultivates prospects and/or clients, initiates and follows up on new business opportunities, leads new business meetings, closes sales, and develops and maintains relationships. Develops and launches new Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) products.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads ETF sales initiative, identifies client needs and coordinates efforts to serve assigned intermediaries
- Follows up on client contacts calling on existing and potential clients
- Provides clients with investment performance updates as well as general client servicing
- Makes presentations to existing and prospective shareholders/clients
- Closes the sale of investment services to prospects and/or clients
- Originates new investor relationships
- Assists in developing and launching new Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) products
- Prepares presentations
- Conducts client meetings
Requirements
- Eight or more years of investment sales experience with ETF products
- Excellent sales skills and in-depth ETF product knowledge
- Stature and experience to cover large/complex prospects and/or clients
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written, with a commitment to high ethical standards
- Strong planning, organization, analytical and technical skills are required
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities concurrently and work independently to perform a variety of tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Team player with the ability to drive key decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Flexibility for business travel that includes shareholder/prospect sales calls and attending investment conferences
- College degree in business administration or equivalent work experience required
- NASD license series 7 and 63 required; CIMA and/or CFA preferred
