Opportunity Overview:
Openwork is hiring a Machine Shop Helper / Packaging to support daily operations in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values consistency, and takes pride in maintaining quality and safety standards.

You will play a key role in preparing materials, supporting machinists, and ensuring products are packaged and ready for shipment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Build and assemble wooden pallets for finished goods.
• Package materials according to company and quality standards.
• Assist machinists and shop team with general production tasks.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move and stage materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow ISO procedures and company quality guidelines.
• Adhere to all PPE and lead safety requirements, including end-of-shift protocols.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of manufacturing or industrial experience.
• Sit-down forklift experience required.
• Experience handling large or heavy materials preferred.
• Carpentry or pallet-building experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety standards.
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
