Personal Lines Account Manager

How you'll make an impact- Client Support
- Maintain accurate client information to provide day-to-day client support and address intermediate-level client inquiries while delivering exceptional customer care.
- Assist in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. Recognize and satisfy carrier goals and objectives to enhance business relationships.
- Account Management
- Maintain files with proper records according to company procedures. Follow company procedures to achieve positive audit results.
- Ensure accuracy of account information for new and renewal policies in accordance with client requests, processing change requests and endorsement checking, addressing proper exposures for policy rating, completing coverage reviews and gap analysis, and accurately transacting agency bill policies.
- Review all accounts receivable and policy cancellation notices according to Agency procedures recognizing that the Agency must process in a timely manner.
- Monitor renewal premium increases for remarketing based on the agency’s retention strategies.
- Secure documentation needed to be retained by the agency including signed applications, replacement cost estimates, rejection of coverage and confirmation of orders.
- Insurance Expertise
- Leverage technical knowledge to ensure carrier quotes are received in a timely fashion; Review quotes for gaps and assists with inquiries from the carrier.
- Attend training and seek self-directed learning to continue education in industry and technical knowledge.
- Other duties as assigned
Required: Bachelor's degree with 0+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience. Producer's License. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Appropriate licensing as required.
Preferred: Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships. Solid financial acumen. Behaviors: Proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortably engages others in consultative discussion. Effectively manages/balances multiple and sometimes competing priorities. Works in a self-directed manner.Compensation and benefits
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
