What You Will Be Doing
Your championship mindset will drive these key responsibilities:
Ignite student-athletes' potential through high-energy morning sessions that set the tone for peak daily performance
Conduct powerful 1:1 mentoring sessions that bridge athletic discipline with academic excellence
Design and lead transformative life skills workshops drawing from your elite sports experience
Command afternoon training sessions that forge mental toughness, team synergy, and personal accountability
Champion student growth through strategic progress tracking and performance optimization
What You Won’t Be Doing
To be clear, this role does NOT involve:
Traditional classroom instruction or academic teaching
Passive observation or hands-off coaching
Unfocused or recreational training sessions
Heavy administrative duties or academic grading
Coaching casual or recreational athletes
Athletics Coach Key Responsibilities

Basic Requirements
The Ideal Candidate Will Bring:
Elite athletic credentials: Olympic experience, World Championship participation, professional career in major leagues (NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, NHL), or NCAA Division I All-American honors
Bachelor's degree (field of study open)
Proven track record of translating athletic principles into impactful life coaching
Distinguished leadership experience that inspires and motivates others to excellence
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Commitment to being based in Austin, TX

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
