Remote and Travis County, TX (in-person as needed)
Note: Services may be provided at job sites in Texas and surrounding areas

Scope of Work / Job Summary:

The Contractor will perform the following services under this agreement:

• Provide coaching, training, and support services to Family Child Care providers as part of the Quality Child Care Matters (QCCM) Program.
• Includes facilitating training sessions, supporting curriculum implementation, offering individual coaching, and collecting data and feedback.
• Facilitate up to 16 virtual training sessions using AVANCE's QCCM Curriculum
• Recruit up to 30 Family Child Care providers from Travis County
• Provide individual and small group coaching (in-person and virtual, as needed)
• Submit monthly coaching reports and session attendance
• Administer required pre/post surveys and intake forms
• Contractor will provide their own computer and internet access. AVANCE will provide curriculum materials, standardized forms, and data collection tools.

Responsibilities:

• Complete assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain clear communication with Quality Child Care Matters Director
• Attend scheduled meetings with AVANCE QCCM team
• Provide invoices for work completed
• Use own tools, equipment, and transportation unless otherwise agreed

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience working with at-home childcare providers
• Experience in early childhood education or business coaching is preferred
• TECPDS certification preferred
• Must maintain professional liability insurance with minimum coverage of $1,000,000 per incident.
• Must pass applicable background checks if required by funding sources or client policies.

Compensation:

• Must reside in Austin area
• $50.00 per hour; not to exceed 30 hours per week
• Payment terms: Net 30 upon receipt of invoice with supporting documentation
• No taxes will be withheld—Contractor is responsible for own tax obligations under IRS 1099 regulations

Additional Requirements (if any):

• Must sign Independent Contractor Agreement
• Provide W-9 prior to payment
• Adhere to Texas labor and business standards for independent contractors
• Have access to personal computer, internet/Wi-Fi , Zoom account, reliable transportation
