About the Role:

Atmosphere is seeking a highly creative and experienced Sports Producer to lead the curation, writing, and production of video content for our Sports channel. The ideal candidate has proven experience producing high-quality sports content with expertise in ideation, writing, editing, and production workflows. Broad knowledge across sports disciplines and strong understanding of sports culture and trends is required to thrive in this fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This Austin, Texas-based role follows a Wednesday–Sunday schedule with PM/night hours and reports to our Executive Producer, Sports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the production, curation, and editing of sports video and graphic content
• Stay ahead of sports news, highlights, and cultural moments to deliver timely and engaging programming
• Collaborate with the content team on ideation, creative direction, and execution
• Oversee special projects and ensure delivery meets editorial and brand standards
• Maintain editorial accuracy and journalistic standards in all content
• Ensure adherence to Atmosphere's Standard Operating Procedures
• Assist with night-time programming and ad sales initiatives
• Thrive in a high-energy, deadline-driven environment

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in sports content production (digital, social, or TV)
• Strong editorial judgment with proven ability to produce compelling sports content
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects)
• Deep knowledge of and passion for sports, news, and culture
• Experience managing projects from concept to delivery under tight deadlines
• Strong organizational, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, solutions-focused work ethic

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base salary range $55,000 - $65,000*

*Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role.This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
