Key Responsibilities of the Labor & Delivery / Antepartum Nurse
- Provide care for high-risk antepartum patients
- Monitor fetal well-being using AWHONN fetal monitoring
- Manage preterm labor and magnesium sulfate administration
- Document patient care using Meditech & CPIN systems
Requirements of the Labor & Delivery / Antepartum Nurse
- Active TX RN License
- Minimum 2 years of high-risk labor and delivery or antepartum experience
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certification
