Budget Analyst
SUMMARY
The Budget Analyst is responsible for developing, analyzing and executing the marketing department budget. This position ensures that the marketing department is accurately tracking and accounting for its finances. This position also monitors and reports on trends in marketing spend in order to improve decision-making and maximize opportunities for the department and the company
RESPONSIBILITIES
·Prepare and maintain annual marketing budgets
·Create monthly status reports for distribution to senior management
·Run monthly budget forecasting and status meetings
·Create projections to estimate co-op funding to be received from automotive manufacturers
·Effectively communicate co-op ad compliance changes and guidelines to the team
·Coordinate reimbursements from co-op departments
·Manage the organizational supply system, including making updates to the internal supply ordering website, determining optimal inventory levels, billing, ordering products, managing cyclical inventory counts, and investigating & reconciling discrepancies
·Code and enter invoices on a daily basis into databases and spreadsheets
·Coordinate payment of invoices with the accounting department
·Reconcile entries with the accounting department
·Scan and file invoices
·Assist with ad hoc projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
·Education: Bachelor&rsquos degree in Business preparation Accounting or Finance is preferred.
·Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel
·Strong presentation, communication and computable skills
·Strong attention to detail
·An innate sense of curiosity
·Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (multi-task)
·High level of personal responsibility
