Staff Accountant

• Manage and maintain accurate accounts payable records, ensuring all bills and payments are timely and correct.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and bank accounts.
• Process credit card reconciliations and oversee petty cash transactions.
• Prepare and issue 1099 forms in compliance with tax requirements.
• Assist in month-end closings, including journal entries and other reconciliations.
• Support the purchase order, cash application, and billing processes.
• Provide assistance during audits and handle additional tasks as assigned.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Experience with QuickBooks or Sage 50 is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
• At least 2 years of bookkeeping and accounts payable experience.
