Now Hiring: Local Journeyman & Apprentice Electricians - San Antonio, TX
Pay Range:
Journeyman Electricians: $24 - $35/hour
Apprentice Electricians: $21 - $24/hour
Start Date: 6/02/25
Per Diem: Not available - Local candidates only
United Trades of America is seeking local Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians for a commercial project in San Antonio, Texas . If you're looking for steady work close to home and want to be part of a team that values safety, reliability, and quality craftsmanship, we'd love to hear from you.
Position OverviewThis project offers full-time hours and consistent work for qualified electricians who live in or near the San Antonio area. You'll be working alongside a skilled team on a fast-paced job site, performing tasks ranging from conduit installation and panel wiring to lighting and device installation. This is a local-only hire - there is no per diem or travel pay associated with this job.
Responsibilities:Install and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national codes
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, panel terminations, and fixture installations
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Work effectively with a team and communicate progress to supervisors
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site
Must live locally or within reasonable commuting distance to San Antonio
Journeyman: 4+ years of electrical experience with TDLR
Apprentice: 3+ year of electrical experience with TDLR
Must provide own hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, etc.)
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
OSHA 10 or 30 is preferred but not required
