What´s the role…

As an IT Security Advisor you will be part of a team delivering consulting services for the assigned projects and/or engagement team. In this role, you will take the lead in bringing our security policies to life—implementing, monitoring, and enforcing them to safeguard our systems and protect what matters most: our data and our clients.

How you will add value…

• Monitoring and enforcing access management procedures across company systems
• Reviewing and approving high-risk access requests according to established protocols
• Conducting periodic access reviews to ensure appropriate rights are maintained
• Evaluating and recommending security technologies and practices aligned with business needs
• Coordinating with the Technology Director to address and respond to security incidents
• Ensuring all security practices align with NIST standards and industry best practices
• Documenting and implementing security controls across the organization.
• Performing security assessments and vulnerability testing
• Providing guidance on security matters to technical and non-technical teams.
• Staying current with emerging threats and security trends
• Supporting regulatory compliance efforts
• Assisting in developing and maintaining security policies and procedures.
• Participating in security awareness training for employees
• Collaborating with Strategic Solutions Advisors to integrate security requirements into client projects

What you need…

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT security roles
• Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with security tools, vulnerability management, and threat detection
• Knowledge of access control methodologies and identity management
• Familiarity with cloud security (especially Microsoft Azure)
• Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent) preferred
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain security concepts to diverse audiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in risk assessment and management
