The PIMCO Cybersecurity organization is looking to hire an Analyst to support the Cyber Incident Response Team and Security Operation Center. The ideal candidate will be experienced with various Cybersecurity platforms, will bring endpoint detection knowledge, and have the ability to assess evidence to escalate significant events to Cyber Engineers and Incident Responders. Within the role, the candidate will be asked to perform many tasks, including event monitoring and search for correlations, reviews of behavioral indicators, and perform workflows outside of incident response activities. Requirements: Excellent communication skills Excellent organizational skills – the position will offer a marginally increased level of supervision, but the individual must be self-sufficient, self-starting and be prepared operate without supervision during events Competency on Cybersecurity toolsets – Endpoint Defense, Email Security Gateway, Security Information and Event Management, Vulnerability Management, Identity & Authentication, Cloud Security Access Broker, etc. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills. Awareness of Cyber trends and devotion to expanding knowledge of the practice. Desirable Certifications: CompTIA: Security+, CySA, ISC2: SSCP, CCSP, GIAC: GISF, GSEC, GISP PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
