What you'll do

• Conducts statistical and trend analyses to forecast WFA key metrics to accurately develop staffing models that ensure all stations can support the fluctuating demand of work.
• Partnering closely with Finance, Technical Operations, and Regional Workforce Administration on budget, forecast processes, and strategic initiatives to support future vision of the department.
• Performs data-driven analyses to assess the impact of efficiency improvements and strategic initiatives.
• Evaluates existing business processes and analyzes/recommends solutions to increase work efficiency, operational performance and customer experience through technology, business process improvements and staffing adjustments.
• Builds relationships with business owners at all levels within Technical Operations and develops action plans to overcome business challenges.
• Creates presentations and frequently interacts with and presents to senior and executive leadership.
• Works on other special projects as assigned, which include cross-utilization within the department or with other departments.
• Utilize statistical analysis, predictive modeling or other analytical methods to analyze data and develop practical solutions to business problems, while maintaining clear communication across teams, and ensuring cross-functional actions are completed
• Perform validation of models to ensure adequacy, define data requirements, and gather and validate information, applying judgement and statistical tests
• Ensure that the entire Workforce Administration organization has the appropriate level of tool knowledge and that we are prepared for the future.
  
  

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience, or Master’s degree in a related field
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Master's degree
• Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools including Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and SAS
• Knowledge of American's financial budget and forecast process a plus, but not necessary
