Description of the role The role of a Psych Tech/Recovery Advocate Level 1 and 2 - at Santa Maria Hostel involves providing support and care to individuals seeking recovery from addiction and mental health issues. - Provide direct support and assistance to clients in their recovery process
- Monitor and document client progress and behavior
- Facilitate group therapy sessions
- Assist in crisis intervention when necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a behavioral health setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts
