Preschool Center Director Location Justin, TX :

Job Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Preschool Director to join our team as the Goddard Preschool Director in Justin Texas. Effectively operates and manages all aspects of a childcare center, including human resources, customer relations, marketing, educational programs, financial responsibility, and physical facility. Promotes positive image of the program within the community and establishes strong working relationships with state licensing authorities, local and county health departments, and other regulatory agencies.

Qualification:

  • Minimum two years experience as Lead Center Director.
  • Bachelor or Associate degree
  • Fluent in Word, excell and power point.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

ADMINISTRATIVE

· Maintain compliance with Goddard QA Standards and State Licensing

· Maintain accurate record-keeping, both state and GODDARD requirements (e.g., children's files, faculty files, vehicle, driver, health, and safety files)

· Conduct disaster drills (e.g., fire, tornado, intruder) Maintain and Update (EPP)Emergency Preparedness Plan

· Maintain all Handbooks

· Maintain a school inventory (e.g., snacks, supplies)

FISCAL

  • Operate the School within budget
  • Purchase classroom equipment and supplies (indoor and outdoor)
  • Purchase school supplies and snack

LICENSING

  • Initiate and maintain a positive relationship with licensing agent/agency
  • Maintain current licensing documentation
  • Comply with all current licensing regulations

PERSONNEL

  • Recruit, interview, hire and manage faculty
  • Counsels staff regarding performance issues via employee handbook and policy and procedures for corrective action.
  • Manage faculty schedule • Conduct faculty orientation
  • Complete faculty reviews: 90-day and annual
  • Conduct monthly faculty meetings
  • Plan/implement bi-annual in-service meetings for faculty
  • Plan first aid, CPR and any other required training
  • Plan emergency preparedness training
  • Ensures that curriculum is appropriately implemented throughout the program and meets state and TRS requirements for each age group.

Educational Program

· Ensures that curriculum is appropriately implemented throughout the program and meets state requirements for each age group.

Physical Facility

  • Maintains building, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe environment that meets program and licensing safety standards.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and healthy environment through scheduled cleaning and frequent safety checks.

PROGRAM, PROGRAM SUPPORT, and PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  • Conduct monthly classroom observations
  • Keep abreast of research and development in the field of early childhood development
  • Conduct classroom ratio checks throughout the day
  • Review lesson plans
  • Review Daily Activity Reports
  • Review children's portfolios regularly
  • Develop and implement a nutritious snack program
  • Develop and implement a transition system
  • Implement a playground safety program
  • Conduct curriculum meetings three times per year
  • SALES AND MARKETING
  • Welcome all visitors to the School
  • Answer the telephone using the GODDARD telephone script
  • Conduct tours according to the GODDARD tour guidelines
  • Follow through with all prospective customers
  • Enroll new families

  • The Director must be qualified to drive the company vehicles when needed.
  • The Director must be willing and able to work in any classroom as needed to meet the programs needs.
  • The Director must maintain at least 30 hours of training each year and a CPR/First aid certificate
  • Participate in Mandatory Management meetings
