Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across antepartum, labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery areas.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, apply and interpret intermittent or continuous fetal monitoring, and document findings in the medical record.
- Assist with labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care, including support for cesarean deliveries per unit protocol; OB circulator duties as appropriate.
- Administer prescribed medications, manage analgesia/anesthesia as ordered, and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and nursing teams to ensure maternal and neonatal safety; communicate clearly with patients and families.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety standards, and accurate charting in the electronic medical record.

Requirements
- Current, unrestricted RN license (state not specified; valid for practice in the assignment area)
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
- Experience in Labor & Delivery; able to care for antepartum, labor, postpartum, and nursery
- OB circulator experience preferred
- Ability to work the Days shift and participate in a 36-hour guaranteed weekly schedule; willingness to travel to a rural West Texas setting
