Certification Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Part 25 certification engineering activities related to large transport category aircraft interiors.
- Develop, review, and approve technical documentation to ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
- Support Aircraft Seat Technical Standard Order (TSO) compliance and certification processes (if applicable).
- Collaborate with the AA ODA team to provide ongoing support and guidance throughout certification efforts.
- Prepare and assist in the creation of Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) packages, including compliance plans and certification reports.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to facilitate successful interior retrofit certification projects.
- Conduct design reviews, identify certification risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to aircraft interior certification.
- Communicate effectively with regulatory authorities, internal teams, and external partners to ensure timely project delivery.
