Job DescriptionAZZ has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Coordinator at our Fort Worth Texas corporate office. Reporting to the Payroll Manager you are responsible for compiling and maintaining payroll data and processing payroll. You are number savvy and will use computerized systems to ensure paychecks are accurate and on time.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Processes employee paychecks by compiling and computing wages, deductions, and other payroll data.
- Enters and maintains payroll data in computerized payroll systems.
- Reviews timesheets and payroll reports to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- Distributes and collects timecards each pay period.
- Answers routine questions from employees and supervisors regarding payroll matters.
- High attention to detail required
- Excellent written and oral communication for both internal and external engagement
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite applications required
- Must be self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Minimum Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree preferred
