EMR Operations Manager
- Bachelor’s degree required with at least two – three years of related experience training, managing, and/or supporting one or more major modules of an EMR - Required
- Two -- three years’ experience with Homecare Homebase Hospice EMR in a support or implementation role - Required
- Ability to travel up to 40 percent of the time (more if during special projects) - Required
- Ability to train EMR system workflow and processes - Preferred
- Advanced working understanding of the EMR information technology industry
- General working knowledge of Hospice and Palliative procedures, regulations (state and federal), and operational standards - Preferred
- Lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex
- Willing to work a Hybrid Schedule
- Current Driver's License, reliable transportation, and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance

- Provides daily oversight and quality assurance of assigned duties in support of the EMR and its vendors
- Manages compliance of EMR system policies and processes to ensure integrity of the data and system controls – including but not limited to EMR ticketing system
- Works with agency leadership to ensure the EMR system is operationally aligned with business priorities
- Assist in maintaining user access to EMR and associated applications
- Independently lead trainings for new hire and remedial education needs
- Participates in developing strategic plans for the support and education of company employees in relation to the Electronic Medical Record system and its vendors
- Ability to independently create and maintain educational resource materials
- Responsible for taking rotation of afterhours HCHB phone or ticketing system support
- Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures
- Performance of other duties as required
