Role: Project Manager 3

Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT/business stakeholders ensuring compliance with state/federal/agency standards.
• Establish strategic roadmaps coordinating TSS vendors, HHS divisions, federal stakeholders.
• Conduct procurements for vendor assessment/outsourcing.
• Define timelines/resources; obtain stakeholder/sponsor approval.
• Create project management deliverables per client framework.
• Manage daily operations, scrums, team oversight.
• Identify risks; coordinate resolution with leadership.
• Maintain constant communication with Data Analytics & Reporting as blended team.
• Track budget/actuals in project tools; lead Agile sprints (planning, grooming, scrums, retrospectives, Kanban).
• Conduct team meetings, task assignment, mentoring, facilitation, training.

Certification : Active PMP required (3+ years).

Required Experience (8+ Years Each) :

• IT project management.
• Information technology industry with 5+ years data management (warehouses/lakes), analytics/BI, J2EE web dev, or SOA-related.
• Excellent verbal/written communication.
• Developing clear, concise project documentation.
• Team management (meetings, task assignment, mentoring, facilitation, training).
• Progress monitoring via risk management practices.
• Leadership updates on issues/progress.
• Expert problem resolution.
• Complete PMLC and SDLC experience.
• Full project budget tracking/actuals entry.
• Leading Agile sprints (increments, grooming, planning, scrums, retrospectives, Kanban).

Preferred Experience :

• 6+ years Healthcare (public health), multi-agency/multi-IT initiatives, HHS agency work.
• 5+ years TSS Sprint Teams (Texas), mixed functional/matrixed resource management, developing/executing PM/work/quality plans, full lifecycle involvement, building/motivating IT project teams.
• 3+ years access & eligibility programs.
