Insurance Product Manager

Toyota Insurance is a brand name of Toyota Insurance Management Solutions USA, LLC (TIMS). We are an independent agency specializing in property and casualty insurance for Toyota vehicle owners. We offer insurance through our trusted carrier partners to provide coverage for your Toyota vehicle, home and other assets. Our mission is to improve the Toyota ownership experience by improving the insurance experience.
Job Overview:
The Product Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of their assigned product throughout all phases of their product’s life-cycle, to achieve revenue, customer service, and profitability goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
- Brings new products or features to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing.
- Manage external and internal stakeholders’ communications.
- Perform relevant analyses for the business problem to be solved.
- Secure the appropriate resources to solve the needed business problem.
- Identify the strategic roadmaps and product changes/developments to achieve the needed the product revenue, customer service, and profitability goals.
- Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
- Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
- Assist other functional areas as needed to achieve the larger entity's revenue, customer service, and profitability goals.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 5 years of solid product management experience in insurance or related field
- Experience in product management and development
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient at Microsoft Work suite of applications.
- Knowledge of the Scrum Ceremonies

Compensation:
- Base Salary: $135,000
- Bonus eligible
