Openwork is partnering with a valued client to hire dependable Facility Janitors who play a vital role in keeping operations running safely and efficiently. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering weekly pay, consistent daytime hours, and long-term stability for candidates who take pride in their work.

Position Overview:

As a Facility Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the facility while following all state health and safety regulations and Quality Management System (QMS) standards. Your work directly supports safe production, employee well-being, and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors
• Sweep, clean, and maintain plant floors
• Clean and sanitize pallets, tools, and equipment
• Remove and properly dispose of trash and waste materials
• Maintain assigned indoor and outdoor work areas
• Complete utility tasks and obtain required sign-offs
• Shower at the end of each shift before leaving the facility
• Cross-train in production areas as needed
• Assist with material movement and general labor tasks
• Operate a forklift when trained and authorized

Candidate Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial janitorial, sanitation, utility, or warehouse work
• Forklift experience strongly preferred
• Ability to wear a respirator for most of the shift
• Must be clean-shaven to ensure proper respirator fit
• Comfortable working with PPE and safety protocols
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and measuring
• Strong time management and task prioritization skills
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to lift 50–70 pounds regularly

Pre-Employment Requirements:

All candidates must successfully complete city, state, and national background checks and drug screening in compliance with regulations.

• Schedule : Monday–Friday
• Hours : 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
• Pay : $17.00 per hour, paid weekly
• Employment Type : Temp-to-hire
