Job Summary:
Join our team as a CNC Machinist where you will play a vital role in operating computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts according to specifications. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components for various industries.
Responsibilities:
– Program CNC machines using CAM programming software
– Set up and operate CNC machines such as lathes and mills
– Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
– Inspect finished products for quality and precision
– Utilize SolidWorks and CAD software for design interpretation
– Maintain tools and equipment in optimal condition
– Interpret GD&T specifications accurately
– Collaborate with engineering teams for process improvement
– Perform measurements using calipers and other precision tools
– Familiarity with Fanuc controls for machine operation
Experience:
– Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
– Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of power tools
– Proficiency in CAM programming and CNC operation
– Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
– Knowledge of GD&T principles for accurate machining processes
