Job Description
The Golden Corral Associate Manager plays a critical role in overseeing daily restaurant operations and managing a team of more than 20 employees. This position leads hiring and onboarding processes, ensures excellent customer service, and maintains high standards in inventory management, safety compliance, and quality control. The Associate Manager works rotating shifts and supports both front-of-house and back-of-house functions to uphold Golden Corral’s reputation and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of over 20 employees to ensure smooth daily operations
- Deliver excellent customer service and manage customer relations
- Oversee inventory control and manage stock levels efficiently
- Conduct staff training and development programs
- Create and manage employee schedules with rotating shifts
- Maintain high standards of food quality and safety compliance
- Handle cash and manage daily financial reporting
- Ensure workplace safety standards are consistently met
- Lead the hiring and onboarding processes for new staff
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Food Handler certificate
- Proven staff leadership and team management skills
- Strong customer service abilities
- Experience with inventory control and scheduling software
- Cash management experience
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Conflict resolution and effective communication skills
