JOB SUMMARY:
The Cashier is responsible for processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently while providing quality customer service and safeguarding company assets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide quality customer service
Memorize PLU codes and maintain updates on new produce
Handle customer cash, credit and change transactions
Identify merchandise that does not scan
Bag groceries
Assist shelving, stocking and dusting when needed
Other duties as assigned by management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED, basic math, reasoning skills.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
The incumbent must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities required for satisfactory performance. Collaboration skills

The work environment is that typical of an office and retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
