Field Service Technician
The Field Service Technician plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing comprehensive on-site service and support for HULK Downhole products. This includes installing, removing, and maintaining equipment directly at customer well locations. You'll also be responsible for offering technical support and troubleshooting services, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues with the products to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
We're looking for highly motivated and experienced individuals with a strong emphasis on safety and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities- Install, remove, and maintain HULK Downhole products at customer well sites, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety regulations
- Managing prompt and efficient response and resolution to customer service issues within the assigned area of operations.
- Confirming proper installation of HULK tools and equipment on customer locations.
- Complete and maintain detailed paperwork for each customer well site, documenting all on-site activities and equipment utilized in a timely manner through our digital applications
- Maintain clear communication with the site leader and advise customers on product and product installation issues. This includes, but is not limited to, job procedures, equipment functionality, and fitment.
- Collaborate with the company's operations and leadership teams, providing insights and recommendations on safety practices and compliance related to installation procedures and well operations
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested by management
Qualifications
- 1 year of prior experience in one or more of the following areas: ESP or Spooling, Capillary, workover/completions, or production rig operations required
- Basic computer and writing skills are required
- Must possess a valid, active state-issued driver's license
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required
- Must be available to work a varied schedule and travel as required by the job
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with limited direct supervision
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing world-class value to customers
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and a strong ability to problem-solve and organize tasks
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- 1 year or more of prior experience installing MLE clamps on ESPs and Cross Collar Clamps on production strings is highly preferred
- 1 year of CT (Capillary) experience preferred
- CDL preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
- The position requires the ability to perform various physical activities, including bending, squatting, kneeling, standing for extended periods, walking, climbing, reaching, kneeling, crawling, and maintaining balance
- May be required to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to use hands for assembly and tool usage is essential
- Work may be performed in all weather conditions. Employees must possess good judgment and understand when it is safe to drive in adverse weather conditions.
- Employees will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety-toed shoes, safety apparel, and eye protection (glasses, goggles, or facemask) as required by the specific task
