Sushi Chef (Full and Part-Time)
Musashi Japanese Fusion is looking for a motivated Junior Sushi Chef who is eager to grow in a high-quality, fast-paced Japanese kitchen. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with foundational sushi experience who wants to sharpen their skills while learning from an experienced team.
We value attitude just as much as experience if you are dependable, hardworking, and passionate about sushi, we want to meet you.
Qualifications
1 to 2 years of sushi experience preferred (restaurant experience required)
Basic knife skills and understanding of sushi preparation
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Able to handle a fast-paced service
Reliable transportation and punctuality
Team-first mindset with a positive attitude
What You ll Do
Assist in preparing sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi
Support senior chefs with prep work and ingredient handling
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
Learn proper fish cutting and presentation techniques
Help ensure every plate meets Musashi s quality standards
