PTA Job Details – Dallas Home Health

• Healthcare Setting: Home Health
• Location: Dallas, TX 75240 (North Dallas)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Hours per Week: 40 (32 guaranteed)
• Start Date: 3-4 weeks from offer

Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA
• At least 6 months of recent experience in a home health setting
• Proficiency with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) software
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation

PTA Responsibilities in Home Health

• Deliver physical therapy treatments and interventions to patients in their homes under supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Accurately document patient care and progress using HCHB software
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and safety within the home environment
• Travel throughout Dallas to provide high-quality therapy services to home health patients
