Office Coordinator/Med Services
- Prepares and disseminates information concerning agency programs and services.
- Maintains records and files.
- Maintains cancellation list for Medication Services unit and coordinates earlier appointments as needed.
- Assists in planning meetings, conferences, and seminars.
- Assists in compiling data for charts, graphs, databases, summaries, or reports.
- Assists with general office duties such as ordering supplies, performing basic bookkeeping work, and completing purchase orders and vouchers.
- Provides assistance answering phone calls, routing incoming calls, taking messages, greeting visitors, and directing visitors to the appropriate staff.
- Will be responsible for flow of the medical clinic and all scheduling of client psychiatric appointments and EKG appointments.
- Will complete lab orders and complete vouchers for lab services.
- Will provide back-up to the medication coordination unit.
- Coordinates training for the Medication Services staff including blocking training time and office space.
- Performs related work as assigned.
Experience in clerical or administrative support work. One year’s work in medical field is preferred. Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent is required. Experience and education may be substituted for one another. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures.
- Skill in the use of standard office equipment and software.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
- Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Must have excellent organizational/filing skills.
- Must have and maintain a level of general health that permits the performance of the job duties and ability to maintain regular attendance as set forth in Center policies and procedures.
Hours: 8AM-5PM M-F
Salary: $35,360 annually/$17.0000 hourly
