Daily Responsibilities

As a Remote Focus Group Panelist, your primary responsibilities will involve active and thoughtful participation in scheduled online sessions.

  • Attend pre-scheduled virtual focus group sessions punctually, typically lasting between 60 to 90 minutes.
  • Engage actively in discussions, providing honest and constructive feedback on various products, services, or concepts.
  • Share well-articulated opinions and insights, contributing to a collaborative group environment.
  • Complete pre-session qualification surveys accurately to ensure alignment with specific research criteria.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all discussed topics and proprietary information presented during sessions.
  • Ensure a stable internet connection and a quiet environment for optimal participation during virtual meetings.
  • Potentially participate in follow-up surveys or brief individual interviews as needed, based on research requirements.

Minimum Requirements

To ensure effective participation and reliable insights, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

  • Residency within the United States is required.
  • Consistent access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection.
  • Possession of a personal computer, laptop, or tablet with a working webcam and microphone.
  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English.
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability for scheduled sessions.
  • A quiet, distraction-free environment suitable for virtual participation.
  • No prior experience in market research or focus groups is necessary; we value genuine, unfiltered opinions.

Role Details

This is a part-time, remote opportunity designed for maximum flexibility.

  • Work Location: This is a fully remote position, allowing you to participate from anywhere within the United States.
  • Travel Requirements: No travel is required for this role. All interactions are virtual.
  • Equipment: Panelists are expected to use their own reliable computer, laptop, or tablet equipped with a working camera and microphone, along with a stable internet connection. AFG does not provide equipment for this panelist role.
  • Schedule: Participation is on an ad-hoc basis. You will be invited to participate in sessions based on your profile and availability. You have the freedom to accept or decline invitations.
