Overview: Are you detail-oriented with a passion for real estate transactions? We are seeking an Escrow Assistant with 1-2 years of experience in using SoftPro software to join our team in River Oaks. As an Escrow Assistant, you will play a crucial role in handling deposits, disbursements, and reconciliations within the escrow account. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining accurate records of escrow transactions, providing exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting with pre-closing and post-closing activities.

Required Skills:

• 1-2 years of experience using SoftPro software
• Proficient in handling deposits, disbursements, and reconciliation of funds within the escrow account
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate and organized records
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide support and information to clients
• Knowledge of compliance regulations and legal requirements within the escrow process
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders
• Detail-oriented mindset to verify property details on documents and ensure accuracy
• Ability to prepare and distribute closing packages, escrow instructions, and settlement statements

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in preparing documents for recording with the county
• Familiarity with scheduling appointments, meetings, and resolving issues during the escrow process

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
