Lead Business Analyst
Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Lead Business Analyst:
The Lead BA is responsible for creating and implementing a project plan that includes business and gap analysis work that supports the WIC MIS system and results in system requirement documentation. Responsibilities include tracking and reporting on project milestones; identifying, managing, and escalating project risks and issues; and leading team members, as well as technical and non-technical subject matter experts to deliver project objectives. The Lead BA guides the team in reviewing the client systems; analyzing complex technical and business processes, prioritizing needs; and coordinates the gathering, development, and documentation of requirements. This position works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment. Required Skills for the Lead Business Analyst:
- Advanced Business Analysis & Requirements Management 10+ years eliciting, documenting, and validating functional, technical, and regulatory requirements with clear, actionable deliverables.
- Enterprise IT & Project Framework Expertise Deep knowledge of project management frameworks, large-scale IT operations, and industry trends to support complex system implementations.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Regulatory Alignment Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and cross-functional collaboration skills with experience translating policies and compliance requirements into system specifications.
