Physical Therapy Assistant Job Details
- Assignment Type: Locum tenens (travel contract)
- Location: Corsicana, TX 75110 – Texas healthcare jobs
- Setting: Rehab facility (Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred)
- Duration: 13 weeks (8/28/2025 – 11/27/2025)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shifts
- Shift Duration: 12-hour days
- Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours/week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,120 - $1,150
- Total Hours per Week: 36
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Texas
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or rehab setting preferred
- Current CPR certification (required for healthcare professionals)
- Negative drug screen results
- Covid-19 test required within 72 hours prior to start date; results due 48 hours before assignment
- Completion of credentialing checklist: license verification, resume, references, background checks, health screenings
- Assist licensed physical therapists in delivering rehabilitation therapy services
- Support patients in achieving mobility, strength, and functional goals
- Accurately document patient progress and communicate with the interdisciplinary rehab team
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and Texas state healthcare regulations
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered team environment
