Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing autonomy at sea, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions that enhance maritime operations through autonomous and intelligent platforms.Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with a specialization in composites to support the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes for autonomous surface vessels. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in composites manufacturing and a passion for driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced marine environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and optimize composite (fiberglass) manufacturing processes.Support production teams by troubleshooting process issues, improving quality, and reducing waste.Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of composite parts and assemblies.Create and maintain detailed process documentation, work instructions, and quality standards.Implement lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and throughput.Support tooling design, maintenance, and optimization for composite manufacturing.Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations specific to composites handling and processing.Provide training and technical guidance to production staff on composite manufacturing best practices.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).Professional experience in composite manufacturing, preferably in the marine, aerospace, or automotive industry.Understanding of composite material properties, curing cycles, and process control.
