We are seeking to hire a network automation engineer who is well versed in cyber security, control devices, IIoT and networking. This individual will be part of the automation team located in the Ft. Worth apparatus facility. As part of the automation team, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the best cyber security and networking practices are adhered to for all automation projects deployed across the sites, protecting our industrial and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in cybersecurity with strong automation and programming skills.
You will make an impact by:
- Align all automation projects with Siemens Information Security policies.
- Stay aligned with Siemens' Cyber Security and Information Security teams
- Ensure automation integrators conform to security requirements
- Stay up to date on current cyber risks to factory automation
- Stay up to date on automation networking best practices
- Stay up to date on network protocols
- Coordinate and implement firmware updates on automation components
- Deploy Siemens approved monitoring tools
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required (Engineering, Networking, or Computer Science related)
- 3+ years of experience in factory automation and control systems projects that included networking - Manufacturing, automotive, food and beverage, or biopharmaceuticals.
- Understanding of industrial network communication protocols including Profinet, Modbus, OPC UA, and IO-Link.
- Understanding of control systems integration with Siemens S7 PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, MES, IIOT, and key Industry 4.0 objectives.
- Excellent written skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Visio
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Siemens Industrial Edge technologies
- At least one software development language (e.g. Python, C#, C++)
- Experience using Node Red or similar technology.
- Is a team player, critical thinker, and can collaborate with others to solve challenging problems.

- The pay range for this position is $67,480 - $141,120. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
