Customer Service Representative

Location North Richland Hills, TX | Onsite

Compensation & Schedule

• $18.00/hr

• Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• W2

• Start Date: ASAP

ROLE IMPACT

This role is the front line for customer inquiries and order issues at a major sporting goods retailer. Success is measured by your ability to resolve issues professionally, ensure order and payment accuracy, and maintain strong relationships between customers and internal teams. Precision, professionalism, and empathy are essential to deliver a high-quality customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer inbound calls and emails regarding online orders and account inquiries

• Verify serial numbers and order accuracy in internal systems

• Confirm payment validity and support fraud prevention protocols

• Communicate effectively with both customers and internal fulfillment departments

• Document customer interactions in CRM for team visibility

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–2 years in customer service, call center, debt collections, or data entry

• Strong verbal communication and phone professionalism

• High attention to detail for order verification and recordkeeping

• Ability to de-escalate complaints and empathize with customers

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

• CRM platforms

• Order processing systems

• Internal product databases

• Email and phone communication tools

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience in firearms, sporting goods, or tax/debt collection

• Familiarity with online order platforms

• Interest in outdoor sports or tactical gear
